Last night the Newtownards Movieland carpark was overrun with modified cars from all over the country, well actually so was the carparks of Mcdonalds, KFC and even the Asda petrol station had cars parked up and on show. They where all there for the annually held Showerks / Fast Car Cruise tour.

Fast Car photographer Steve McCann was on the scene to snap up a storm for their monthly magazine. We popped along also to do our rounds and even brought a couple of PR girls along to sell some lanyards, hand out some flyers and stamp some arms with our good old ilovebass stamp!

A good night was had, with most people swapping their car seat for their legs and getting out and about for a chat and even the occasional car vs man competition happening on the main straight.

It's good to see a magazine like Fast Car popping over to NI for cruises like this and we look forward to seeing the photos, report and ofcourse next year!
